Right, continuing my break, i've watch the Sonic X version of Sonic Adventure 2. To be honest, this may be the only time that SA2 will beat SA1. They clearly spent a lot more time planning and thinking about this than SA1. However, the plot is a lot more simple as well.

The plot works much better this time, plus the new characters are meshed in better. Animation is the same old job, as is the music. But they did use one piece of music from the games which made it all worth it.

The X tornado was still around, thankfully not as much. Chris was a cheesy bitch, as normal. Everyone still has bad eyesight. The move between episodes 33 and 34 was very confusing, which made me think i missed an episode. There was also a pointless side plot which was boring.

Overall, it felt much better than the SA1 adaption, but still has many flaws. 8/10.

As it turns out, there is gonna be a Sonic Heroes adaption as well.

I watched Sakura Wars The Movie today. I think I'll write a movie review about it, in your usual movie review thread.

Let's see, as you may know, i've finished watching Princess Tutu (watch it dammit!!) and Jungle guu. Right now, i've watched some more Uninhabited Planet Survival, Yumeria and the latest Tenchi Muyo OVA (at last!!). UPS is good, although Shala is a useless bitch. Yumeria must be watched by all. And Tenchi Muyo is more of the same, which is always good.

Finally, i'll be watching Read or Die TV with my friends. Ral-kun has told me it's good.

I just watched Last Exile. Pretty good anime, with incredible CG usuage. Its motive is Skies of Arcadia.

Cool! Is it an original SoA anime, a rip-off, or anime with a very similar style?

Theres flying battle ships, the emperor's noble fleet, the ultimate rogue ship the main character is in, and "Grand Stream" which is practically that black vortex thing in SoA. Theres a touch of WWI to it though. The main character doesnt know how to fight, but flies a plane instead. Its pretty interesting.
